About Us: Frequently Asked Questions : What should I bring with me

To make the most of your appointment with your financial planner you should bring with you or have knowledge of "Everything Financial" some of the things you could bring with you are:

  • Bank statements
  • Loan statements
  • Superannuation statements
  • Centrelink benifit details
  • A full list of assets and liabilities
  • Full details of your income and expenditure (if you don't have a budget cosider doing one before coming to see us click here for a budget planner)
  • Details of your estate planning arrangements (will, power of attourney, enduring guardian)
  • Details of your personal insurance

Most importantly you should have an idea of what areas of your financial situation needs to be looked at and some short medium and long term goals that you would like to achieve.  This does not need to be complex.  An example could be "You and your partner are 56 and 54, you have worked for the governemtn all your life and want to make sure that when you retire you have paid off your home loan and have enough saved to do some international travel in retirement whilst not affecting your level of income".

The more information you can bring with you, the more individual and appropriate the advice will be to you.
